15 Books Meme

needtherapy: apsies: aimee-b-loved:trapezemusic:shaneguiter:

Not the best 15 books you’ve ever read, or even ones you’d recommend to others.  Just 15 books that have made their mark on you and will always stick with you, for whatever reason.

-Shane

1. The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

2. Mandy by Julie Andrews Edwards. *

3. The Book of Atrix Wolfe by Patricia A. McKillip.

4. God Stalk by P.C. Hodgell.

5. The Bestiary by Nicholas Christopher.

6. Jane of Lantern Hill by L.M. Montgomery. *

7. The Four-Story Mistake by Elizabeth Enright. *

8. The Boxcar Children by Gertrude Chandler Warner. *

9. Jennifer Government by Max Barry.

10. A Game Of Thrones by George R. R. Martin.

11. Caravan by Dorothy Gilman.

12. Incident at Badamaya by Dorothy Gilman.

13. Peter And The Starcatchers by Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson. *

14. The Beekeeper’s Apprentice by Laurie R. King.

15. George And Martha by James Marshall *

Most of these are children’s books or fantasy, but that’s what I dig, and also what sticks with me. Not to mention My Dorothy Gilmans where I learned to love the desert. TO THIS DAY I only want to visit Egypt and Africa because of the desert (okay, Mom & Angel’s childhoods helps too,) but the desert still calls to me.
